What is InMarPro?

InMarPro is a one stop shop for marine inspections and audits. The bureau is based in the Netherlands and we have availability and coverage throughout the world. Our professionals are based in the Netherlands, Sweden, UK, Greece, Latvia, Canada, Singapore and Dubai. Our team consists of Master Mariners, Chief Engineers and experienced Inspectors & Auditors.

Owner & Lead Inspector/Auditor:

Bert Broek is the owner of InMarPro and is actively involved in the company’s inspection and audit activities. With a strong maritime background and extensive experience in vessel inspections, audits and compliance, he also serves as Lead Inspector/Auditor/Consultant for InMarPro.

Marine & Technical Inspector:
Jiri Biersteker is a former Chief Engineer with DEME and currently works as a Maintenance Engineer at AEB Amsterdam. Alongside his position at AEB, he is actively involved as a Marine & Technical Inspector, supporting InMarPro with his extensive marine engineering, maintenance and technical experience.

Marine & Offshore Inspector / Consultant:

Kees Matthijs a retired maritime and offshore professional, but not yet ready to sit still. His career includes positions as Engineer at Jumbo Navigation and Rig Mechanic in the offshore industry, followed by roles as Superintendent and Vessel/Platform Manager at Fugro and Schlumberger. He also worked as QHSE Engineer at Heerema and as Newbuild & Conversion Manager and Principal Class Surveyor at DNV.
He is now active as a Consultant and Marine & Offshore Inspector, supporting InMarPro with vessel and offshore inspections and his extensive technical and operational experience.

Marine Inspector & Auditor:

Jhonatan Gandica has over 15 years of maritime experience, he has worked aboard tankers and dry cargo vessels, as well as ashore as Marine Surveyor, Port Operations Supervisor and University Professor.
He is experienced in ISM, ISPS and MLC audits, condition inspections, Vetting and SIRE preparation, QHSE management and vessel operations. He supports InMarPro as Marine Inspector & Auditor, bringing strong operational, technical and regulatory expertise.
